In this post let me talk to you about the biggest mistakes people make when it comes to successful blogging. One of the biggest mistakes people do is spend too much time on technical stuff, and they literally get zoomed into that and forget about more important things. So in this post we’ll be talking about Technical blunders.
#1 Technical blunder: Spending Too Much Money Setting Up
This is simple one. This is one of the ultimate sins when it comes to business blogging. Plain and simple it means spending way more money than you need to in order to get your blog set up.
This is dumb because, why would you spend more money on something what can be done for less? Don’t buy overpriced systems if you can have the job done with affordable ones! Very good example is Blog Beast, as it is powerful, affordable and simple to use.
How to fix this?
Find something what will not steal your time, your money and will be effective.
#2 Technical blunders: Spending Too Much Time Setting Up
This Blunder is frequently the single greatest inhibitor of success online. It means that you’re putting too much time into setting up and not enough time into focusing on actually engaging with your audience and making money for your business through your blog.
This one is very, very slippery. When you keep yourself busy you feel like getting things done and being productive, the real truth is that if you’re not doing IPA (Income producing activities) then the things you are doing actually don’t matter and will not make a huge impact in your business.
How to Fix this?
Realization, most of the time you just goes with the flow unconsciously and don’t even realize that you’re doing non-important things. You have to realize and understand what must be really done.
This sounds simple and it actually is, these are the two things that will allow you ever forget about these blunders:
1) A great system that helps you quickly and easily set your blog up so that it is ready to make you money.
2) A great mentor who can show you how and where you should be spending your time.
#3 Technical blunders: Not Leveraging Mobile Blogging

When you first came online, I believe that it was one of the reasons you came here “Make money from whatever place in the World”, but actually when it comes to blogging, you are tighten to the desktop. #4 Technical blunders: Trying To Be A Programmer
This is a trap that many online entrepreneurs are falling into. Just because you CAN doesn’t mean you SHOULD.
This is dumbass because you are not a programmer nor you should pretend to be one. Why would you waste your time on something like that, frustrated by confusing codes and pouring hours into all that techie stuff, when you could be doing what only YOU can do by sharing your message with the world through your blog instead?
I remember myself a while ago, when I found out that it is possible to make money on the internet.
First what I did I actually started an Amazon store and found myself spending day and night by just adding stuff to my website, which was absolute crap, I had literally to learn HTML to code it myself.
I remember ordering from Amazon a book called "HMTL BIBLE", It has over 800 pages and I'm not sure if mortal person can learn it all.
I opened it and started to read the first page. As fast as I started to read it, I gave it up! I got scared but I knew that there are better ways, it can't be that hard.
I wasn't struggling to learn how to do it, because I'm kind of tech guy and pick up things pretty fast but I understood that if I want my team to do this, they might have a problems.
So I gave it up, why would I learn something what's not duplicative?
I don't see the point there.. Then I found blog beast.
How to Fix this?
What you need is a simple, easy-to-use system that allows you to have a successful online business without having to pretend to be a programmer.
#5 Technical blunders: Poor SEO
If you’re dealing with this blunder then you’re not actively doing anything to take advantage of your blog’s power to help you get found in search engines.
One of the greatest business blogging benefits and assets is taking advantage of search engine optimization and actually ranking your articles on the search engines. If you’re not doing it you’re missing out one the tremendous opportunities your blog offers to increase your keyword rankings and grow your organic search traffic.
How to Fix this?
The number of terms that a website can rank for is directly related to the size of the site. More often than not, the difference between a basic 50 page website and a dynamic, traffic-attracting 500+ page site is an active blog. Because of this, blogging is an absolutely essential practice for SEO and traffic-building. More indexed pages mean more opportunities for keywords, so develop an SEO strategy for your blog and implement that strategy for every piece of content you create and publish on your blog.
STEP 1: IDENTIFY YOUR KEYWORDS
Brainstorm keywords to help determine a topic for your blog. This is an important step in developing your blog’s SEO strategy. Keep in mind that the more general a keyword is, the more difficult it will be to rank for. An example of this: the head term “blogging” would be more difficult to rank for than the long-tail keywords “how to use a blog.” You can use Google’s free keyword tool, which offers insight into the competitiveness of a specific keyword, to help you choose realistic keywords related to your blog’s topic.
STEP 2: OPTIMIZE BLOG CONTENT WITH THOSE KEYWORDS
The most important places to include keywords on any page of your site are in the page title, the URL, and the H1 (Header) tag (in your blog’s case, this usually means your blog title). This means that if you’re trying to rank for the keywords “how to use a blog,” you need to make sure to use that phrase in that order in all three places.
That’s about it folks about technical mistakes bloggers make.
